This free seminar is for you, if you are a fundraiser, charity steward, trustee or administrator of a church, ministry, faith-based charity.

Whether you are new to raising funds or have years of experience, this free training session aimed at not-for-profits will teach you how to make the most out of Gift Aid, attract grants and write successful bid applications in today’s competitive charity. This event is ideal for a charity steward, trustee or administrator, whether you’re a charity, church or not-for-profit. You will learn how to apply for government or private funding.

We will be holding 10-minute personal breakout sessions.

What is this seminar about?

Did you know that £750,000,000 of Gift Aid is left unclaimed every year? Des Stewart, Co-founder of GoodtoGive will make sure you’re not one of those losing out on Gift Aid from donations you receive as well as give some tips on rules for retrospective claims.

Dominic Pinnock, Grant and Bid-writing consultant for GoodtoGive, is an expert in charity grant applications and bid writing – and he will tell you the crucial differences between them in terms of funder expectations. He has secured charitable funds from the Lloyds Bank Foundation, National Lottery (Awards for All and Reaching Communities), MACC, Henry Smith Foundation, and many other sources. Dominic will skilfully guide you through the process of selecting and applying for grants and preparing bids.

Dominic has been working in cross-community development roles for over 20 years and is the founder NGNF. He brings expert knowledge of how to apply for grantsbid processes and funding applications. Dominic is an expert in community fundraising and has secured funding from organisations such as Lloyds Bank FoundationNational Lottery (Awards for All and Reaching Communities), MACC, Henry Smith Foundation, Local Authority Funding and many other sources.
