This course gives a high-level overview of the GoodtoGive microsite. The microsite is updated regularly, so always follow on-screen guidance — offline instructions may be outdated.

Key rules

1. Bank all donations before use.
2. Do not claim Gift Aid for donations that have not been banked.
3. Always include the GTG batch reference when banking.

Note on donations written on behalf of donors

Only write donation details on behalf of a donor if the original is illegible (e.g., elderly donor). In such cases, keep the original copy for audit purposes.
